Join WCTV's incredible student filmmakers for an unforgettable night celebrating the culmination of two years of creativity, collaboration, and filmmaking.
Logline:
When the evil corporation Time Loops threatens to break through the fabric of reality itself, former cop turned reluctant hero Guy Guy must team up with his worst enemy—The Chief—to stop a madman’s plan to escape the movie and conquer the real world.
Background:
What began in the summer of 2023 as a six-minute short about a reluctant (and often bumbling) hero named Guy Guy quickly became a full-blown franchise. The original film—written, directed, filmed, edited by, and starring WCTV students—spawned two sequels that same summer: a 20-minute action-packed follow-up, Guy Guy's Epic Amazing Adventure Film, and a 30-minute western-inspired third chapter, The Good, The Bad, and the Guy Guy.
In 2024, the students leveled up. They wrote a 114-page screenplay and began filming a feature-length epic that spanned the summer, fall, and winter. During the course of filming, students learned how to create advanced effects and coordinate large-scale shoots, while filming in the pouring rain, the early hours of the morning, and far beyond WCTV’s studios -- taking shoots to locations in Lowell, Worcester, Boston and beyond.
Now, that journey reaches its epic conclusion.
Guy Guy 4: Cereal Killers
Synopsis:
Time Loops has won. The tyrannical CJO now rules with an iron fist, backed by his gleefully violent cyborg enforcer John Silverfist and deranged scientist William Shmeckle. Their latest plot? Build a 4th wall-breaking portal that lets CJO escape the film and take over the real world.
Enter Guy Guy—ex-cop, current newscaster, and the last voice of truth in a world gone off the rails. With no options left, Guy Guy is forced into an uneasy alliance with The Chief, his corrupt former boss and the very man responsible for the death of his beloved mentor, Person Person.
As the two begrudgingly team up, they enlist help from allies both old and new: Sheriff Albuquerque, a cowboy bounty hunter with his own checkered history with Guy Guy, and Aidan Prime, the cryptic leader of a hivemind of people who all share the same face.
It’s a chaotic, action-packed race against time as mismatched heroes and maniacal villains clash in a battle that could break reality wide open.

Tone and Content Notes:
This film is fast-paced and action-packed, but firmly in the realm of comedic adventure. Though it features fights, chases, and themes of rebellion, the violence is bloodless and cartoonish—using clearly fake props like nerf-style blasters and water guns, with a strong emphasis on humor and physical comedy.
While Guy Guy 4 explores ideas like revenge, corruption, and totalitarianism, it does so in a lighthearted, accessible way for younger audiences. There is no graphic content, and language is extremely mild—limited to the occasional “hell” or “damn.”
