WCTV’s Studio “B”, is a self-contained mini TV
studio designed for simple programs and small
interviews.
Not only is Studio “B” smaller than Studio “A”,
but its control console is located within the room
(not in a separate control room like Studio “A”).
The small shooting set can handle up to three
persons: a host and one or two guests.
The riser also has ample space for set dressing
and background accessories.
This studio is equipped with three remotely-
controlled cameras, and a control console capable
of playing and recording S-VHS tape as well as DV
tape and DVDs.
The control console also contains a hard-disk
based recording system capable of recording a
program and subsequently transferring it via our
in-house network right into our automated
playback system.
The Studio “B” control console contains all of
the equipment needed for a small-scale television
production: including playback and recording gear,
switching and mixing equipment, monitoring and
processing devices.
The console can be operated by two to four
persons: a director; a playback/camera operator;
a graphics operator and an audio operator.
WCTV members can use this studio to produce
their programs, after completing a short training
course on the proper use of the studio.
